Educators

Youth First is dedicated to reducing youth substance abuse. Because so much of our children's time is spent at school, it is critical for our educators to been trained as they are really on the front line of this battle.

If you, as an educator, suspect a student of having a drug or alcohol abuse problem, consider not only the damaging effects he or she can have on the school, but also take a minute to think about the damage being done at home.

Information educators will find in this section include:

  • Research Proven Programs
  • School Social Worker
  • Local Statistics
  • Symptoms of Substance Abuse - how to recognize effect of abuse.
  • Ask Youth First a question!
  • Additional sources of information.
